What to Do After Someone Dies
Description
The workshop What to Do After Someone Dies introduces the actions to take immediately after someone dies and the steps required to settle their affairs. The workshop follows the story of a father who passes away, leaving behind a spouse and two children in their forties. Participants will learn about the steps to take depending on whether the father 1) had a notarial will, 2) had a will that was not made by a notary, or 3) had no will at all. Participants will also look at the steps the man’s son must take in his role as the liquidator of the estate.
